In 2011 Georgiou was awarded the contract to design and construct a 519 room rail construction camp and company facilities at Mooka, located 26 kilometres south of Port Hedland for BHP Billiton.
The project is an integral part of the Asset Development Projects for BHP Billiton in its efforts to increase mining, processing, rail transportation, stockpiling and ship loading capabilities of iron ore in the north west of WA.
The camp has the potential to increase in size to accommodate 2,800 persons over the next two years and included central facilities, waste water treatment plant and power generation.
Westkey was awarded the contract to design, manufacture and deliver various buildings for the Mooka Rail Construction Camp over three milestones.
They were engaged for this turnkey design and construction project based on their proven track record of success in providing excellence in the mining camp arena, their reputation for safe delivery and ability to deliver detailed, accurate cost estimations.

On client request, weekly Inspection Test Plans were completed coupled with client visits to the Wangara site.
Westkey delivered four buildings as IL4 structures although it was not specified by the client. These include an EPCM Office, Gatehouse/First Aid Building, Gymnasium, Camp Administration Office and Retail Store.
