Getting Started with Westkey
Westkey Modular Housing works with clients throughout the solution in a streamlined way to ensure the best results in meeting exact requirements. The process depends on the type of solution and the industry.
Initially new clients are encouraged to contact the friendly sales team at Westkey for preliminary information or to answer any queries. Then estimations are provided, and the following information may be necessary:
For modular buildings, relocatable buildings, kit homes or granny flats:
- Building requirements & design: e.g. number of rooms, purpose, if elevated floors are necessary, energy ratings, cyclonic proofing etc.
- Type of land: sloping, size, issues etc.
- Location of land: region, affected by weather.
- Budget & Pricing: workable range.
- Clients submit proposal/drawings/plans.
- Give requirements & specifications: e.g. number of people, facilities needed, land, location, purpose.
- Work with dedicated Westkey team member who will provide a solution and quote.
Once satisfied with the preliminary quote, the client then works with the design team on the new project design or on finalising existing designs. The Westkey design department has extensive experience in the industry to assist in selecting the best design aspects to match your requirements.
3. MANUFACTURING
Westkey's seamless integration system ensures efficiency and work flow producing exact dimensions in all wall frames and roof trusses, which are locally manufactured on Westkey's 5 acre premises using top quality Australian steel. The walls and trusses are easily assembled by the Westkey team ready for the next phase of inhouse manufacture or are strap packed ready for shipping. This easy process ensures frames can be provided in as little as 5 weeks in some cases!
The Westkey team will coordinate and manage delivery, employing the best methods of dispatch, for timely delivery to meet set deadlines.
